Field and Stream Club (For men and boys)
If you like the outdoors then you are going to want to check out these outdoor programs offered during the year.
Fly tying, second Monday of every month. Great opportunity to learn the basics of tying flies and hanging with some great guys. We do easy patterns for beginners as well as more complex for the advanced fly tiers.
Fishing trips: throughout the year we do all kinds of fishing trips, Steelhead up in northern Ohio, Salmon in Michigan and trout in West
Virginia.
Wild at Heart, men and boys camp out: Once a year we do an overnight at a great place down in Logan. The kids have a great time fishing, shooting guns, going on a hike and swimming.
Youth Fishing Day: Once a year we do a Sunday afternoon fishing day at a private lake just a few miles from the church. Everything is provided: poles, bait, fishing instructors and grilled lunch, all at no cost. We guarantee that everyone will catch fish. This is for anyone: moms, dads, boys, girls, friends, neighbors.
Hunter Sunday: Every year we celebrate the great outdoors by dedicating one Sunday in October to hunters and hunting. We encourage the hunters to wear their camo and Pastor Dave does a special hunting sermon. After the service, we offer grilled venison and wild game for everyone and have outdoor archery shooting.
