My wife, Roxanna, and I started VCC in 1978.  We have been here ever since!  We love this church and the people that are here and plan to spend the rest of our lives here.  We have 6 beautiful children: Michael, Hannah, Stephany, Jason, Christopher, and Paul.  All of them are Christians.  We have been married for 30+ years.  I am 55 years old.  My favorite hobbies are teaching and studying God's Word, spending time with my family, reading other great books, fishing and hunting, in that order.  I grew up in a very large family.  I have 11 brothers and sisters.  Many of them attend VCC today and are very active in the ministry.  I grew up in NJ and was saved when I was 19 years old.  I was part of the "Jesus People" movement in the 1970's and traveled around the US doing evangelistic work among the hippies and street people.  Before I was full-time in the ministry, I was a builder with my brothers at "DiYanni Homes" and an accountant.  My favorite Bible verse is Hebrews 4:12.

Mark Poland - Associate Pastor / CARE Group Pastor: mpoland@vineyard05.com 

I came on board in June of 2004.  I am also a seasoned member of VCC.  After moving from Pittsburgh in 1983 with my wife, Chris, and our first son, Josh, we visited numerous churches and asked the Lord where he wanted us, and we were directed to VCC in the Spring of 1984.  Since then, Chris and I have been active members in every way possible, even creating future members with our 3 other sons whom we have had since being at VCC.   Now Josh, Jordan, Jesse and Josiah are participating in ministries as the Lord leads.  Chris and I have been married since June 1980 and my family is my favorite "hobby" and source of entertainment.  I am truly blessed in the company I will spend the rest of my life with.  Although in my spare time, I am an avid supporter of the Columbus Crew Soccer Team and the Pittsburgh Steelers.  While I am still active as a replacement window contractor, I am also blessed and privileged that my future lies in Caring, being in Accountable relationships, Reaching out and Encouraging (CARE Groups)--in this community of believers and believers to come.  Being involved in the growth, maturing and successes of my church family will be as rewarding as that of my own family.

I have lived on the far east side of Columbus all my life.  I have a beautiful wife, Kimberly, who is from the Cleveland area.  We have been married since August 2005.  We have two children, Rebekah and Benjamin.  We love raising our children and helping them learn about life.  I wouldn’t trade my family for the world!  Kim and I enjoy outdoor activities anywhere surrounded with mountains is okay with us.  We enjoy our family here at VCC and couldn’t ask for a better group of people to spend time with.  One of my favorite verses in the Bible is Matthew 11:28-30.  God used this passage to help me understand how easy life can be when we “hook” ourselves up to Jesus and let Him take care of us.  I can’t say it enough, God gives me every reason to live and serving Him truly does bring pure joy!

Roxanna DiYanni - Associate Pastor / Children's & Women's Pastor:  rdiyanni@vineyard05.com

I grew up the oldest of 8 children in Denver, Colorado.  I was a junior in high school when I completely surrendered my life to Christ.  I decided to enter full-time ministry as soon as I graduated from airlines training school in 1971.  Dave and I were part of the same nationwide youth ministry for a number of years.  I had a deep desire to marry a pastor and God granted me that request.  I enjoy being part of such a young active church; it has been a wonderful place for our family to grow closer to Christ. 


I have worn many hats through the years at the church.  I have served as the women's director, assimilation director, prayer team leader, children's Sunday school teacher, mentor mom for our MOPS program and the worship team.  I helped start ministries like the Vineyard Political Action and Music Academy.  My favorite book is the Bible; I continue to read it from cover to cover.  I am sure I have read it at least 25 times all the way through.  One of my favorite hats is working with the children of our church.  They are bubbling over with excitement and have an uncomplicated, simplistic faith and trust in God.  


I enjoy volunteering my time serving Reynoldsburg High School throughout the year.  I love working out at the YMCA, playing golf, playing music and my new addiction is going to college.

Aaron Justin and his wife Rachel came from Memphis, TN.  Both have been involved in various church ministries and positions including Media Director, Youth Pastors, and a full-time intern with an evangelistic traveling drama team.  They have been on quite a journey over the past few years and say, “We truly believe that God has led us here to VCC for a reason and can’t wait to see what God has in store for us here!”  Aaron is looking forward to revamping our college/career & youth departments with new and fresh ideas.
