GOBA
A group of bicyclers from VCC will be going on the GOBA week long bike trip in 2012 from Saturday, June 16 through Saturday, June 23, 2012. We will be pedaling about 50 miles a day. You can do all of these rides or as many as you would like. To join our group click here. For more information on cost and registration visit goba.com. The route this year is Hillsboro - Chillicothe - Ashville - Washington Court House - Wilmington - Hillsboro.
Men’s Field & Stream Club
If you would like to learn how to tie flies or would just like to tie flies with some other guys this is a great opportunity. Bring your stuff or if you don’t have any come anyway, we have extra you can use. Group starts meeting February 13th and continues to meet every 2nd Monday of the month until August. No sign-up... just show up.
CARE Leader Service
February 26th at 7pm we will be having a CARE Leader Service. Mark your calendars.
Organic Food
Are you interested in joining an organic food buying club? The club will be purchasing certified organic raw milk, beef, chicken, eggs and pork. The price for certified organic food is almost double the price of what you would be paying for regular food at the local grocery stores but you get the benefit of eating food without all the growth hormones and antibiotics, and animals that are all free range grass fed. Giving Statements
Giving statements are available online via Vinebook. Directions are available for download here or by the kiosks in the foyer. Please call the church if you need assistance retrieving your statement or have questions.
Baptisms
Jesus was baptized, have you been? We will be having a baptism class on Sunday March 18th at 9:30 AM. This class is a requirement if you would like to be baptized on Easter Sunday, April 8th. Firm Foundations Class
Our next class is March 4th 5-8 PM in the SpaceStation. This class is a pre-requisite to taking the VCC membership class. It is taught by our church leaders and teaches the basic beliefs of the Christian faith. Sorry, no childcare provided due to length of class. Please sign-up here.
CARE Groups
Our spring semester is getting ready to start next month. It’s a great time to get involved in a CARE Group. Find the special insert in the bulletin this week at church to sign-up for a new group.
This group meets every Thursday at 7:00 PM in the Community Room. All 7th-12th Graders welcome! Check it out.

For Your Information
Water Baptism- If you are interested in water baptism and are over age 12, please call the church office at 740-927-7729 to make arrangements or sign up online.
Giving Words- We desire and expect to hear God through the prophetic word. If you feel that God has given you a word for the church, write it down with your name & number and drop it in the offering basket. Church leadership will look it over and advise.
Baby Dedication- If you are a VCC Member and your child is under 2, please call or sign up online 6 weeks in advance to request dedication materials. Complete your materials and call to set up a pastoral appointment.
Communion- We practice open communion; membership is not needed. If you are a Christian walking in obedience to God’s Word, come forward during worship to dip the bread in the grape juice.
Hospitality Room- is available for nursing mothers. Be respectful of others who are watching the service by TV in this room.

Emergency- The staff will make decisions during inclement weather and send a bulk email along with placing a posting on facebook by 6:00 P.M. Saturday. If you would like to receive our bulk emails click here.

Our Sunday services take a lot of people to run. We have greeters, ushers, secretaries, KidZone teachers & helpers, control room personnel and worship team members. If you have an interest in helping in any of these areas, click one of the links below.
Free Clinic
Want to be part of our Free Clinic ministry? We are always in need of volunteers. If you have skills in our current clinics or have a new clinic in mind click here.
...to get fit in 55 minutes? - CHANGED TO WOMEN ONLY
Fit in 55 will be offered for women. This group will offer pilates, zumba and core training. Meeting on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 7PM starting Feb 7 running through April. The cost is $15. Babysitting provided at an extra cost of $10 a month. Click here to sign-up.

Toddler Tumbling will coincide with the fitness class on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 7PM starting Feb 7 running through April. We are welcoming 3-5 year olds to tumble and roll in this fun class. Cost is $30 ($10 a month). Click here to sign-up.
