Israel Pilgrimage
The next meeting is planned for October 10th, 6 PM at Ps Dave’s house. If you have sign-up for pilgrimage, please mark your calendar with this meeting date.
Free Wheelchair Mission Trip
We are going to send Ps. Mark Poland to Vietnam to deliver our chairs. Want to join him? The trip is planned for March 19th-26th. We are still in the planning phase but want to give people the opportunity to get passports and start saving money. Click here if you are interested in joining this adventure. Kroger Community Rewards

Pavement Project
We are going to be celebrating our church’s 32nd anniversary on Sunday October 24th. As part of this celebration we will be collecting a special offering to repave our parking lot. We need $50,000. 170 spaces at a cost of $300 per space.
Firm Foundations Class
Our next one day class is Sunday, September 19th 5-8 PM in the SpaceStation. This class is a pre-requisite to taking the VCC membership class. It is taught by our church leaders, teaches the basic beliefs of the Christian faith. Please sign up here.
Membership Class
Our next Membership Class is a one day class on September 26th from 5-8 PM. This class teaches the history of our church, our goals, values, and vision for the work God has set before us. Our Firm Foundations class is a pre-requisite to this class. If you are interested, Sign-up.
Hunter Sunday
Hunter Sunday is coming on September 26th. We will be having an incredible guest speaker on this day, Bob Welsh. He is a retired state patrol officer and an avid hunter. He will be telling some of the most incredible stories on this day. They will truly inspire you. You won’t want to miss this. We will also be serving venison and corn bread and there will be an outside archery range open to everyone. Want to be involved in the chili cook off? Would you like to help by making some corn bread or set-up and tear down, please click here to sign up. Don’t forget to wear your camo clothing and bring a friend. This is really going to be a great service. Bob is a fantastic speaker.
Hunter Safety Course
On September 25th for 9 AM to 1 PM, we will be offering our Annual Hunter Safety Course. There is no cost to take this class offered by the ODNR. Need or want more details, email us. To sign-up click here.
New Member’s Celebration Bonfire
Just a fun night for our new and current members to get together and enjoy fellowship on Sunday October 3rd, 6:30 PM. We will be providing hotdogs, chips, soda, s’mores and more. Come join us for a nice night by a roaring fire.
Christmas Play
Love to sing, dance or act? Our first meeting for anyone wanting to be involved in our Christmas play will be September 22nd, 7 PM, conference room.
Wildlilfe Youth
Welcome Rob DeVol as our new Youth Director. Wildlife Youth meets every Thursday at 7:00 PM in the Community Room. All 7th-12th Graders welcome!
180 Degrees Youth C.A.R.E. Group
This group meets Sunday morning in May, July, September, and November @ 9:30 AM in the community room. This is an exciting group for youth interested in growing closer to God. 180 Degrees is led by Rob & Cynthia DeVol with discussions on topics relevant to teens today. All 7th-12th Graders welcome!
College Age C.A.R.E. Group
We are still working on a cool name but the group is planned. Meeting every Sunday alternating months starting in October. The group will be meeting at Ps. Dave’s house at 9:30 AM, October 3rd. Coffee and bagles will be provided. Paul DiYanni will be leading the new group.

For Your Information
Water Baptism- If you are interested in water baptism and are over age 12, please call the church office at 740-927-7729 to make arrangements or sign up online.
Giving Words- We desire and expect to hear God through the prophetic word. If you feel that God has given you a word for the church, write it down with your name & number and drop it in the offering basket. Church leadership will look it over and advise.
Baby Dedication- If you are a VCC Member and your child is under 2, please call or sign up online 6 weeks in advance to request dedication materials. Complete your materials and call to set up a pastoral appointment.
Communion- We practice open communion; membership is not needed. If you are a Christian walking in obedience to God’s Word, come forward during worship to dip the bread in the grape juice.
Hospitality Room- is available for nursing mothers. Be respectful of others who are watching the service by TV in this room.
Family Service- is held at 11:00 AM in the Community Room upstairs. This is a noise friendly service so kids can be kids.
